-
Jenny will care for your gums and teeth, and provide information on dietary habits and health conditions affecting your oral health.
-
She will work with your dentist to plan an oral health maintenance program, including assessment of your periodontal (gum) health, evaluation of radiographs and review your medical history.
-
It is recommended that you have OPG x-ray every 18 months and we will take interproximal x-ray (BWs) to check for decay in between your teeth every two years.
-
At your appointment we will remove calculus deposits and stains from your teeth. The removal of calculus deposits allows for easier home oral hygiene, thus aiding in the improvement of the health of your gums.
-
We will also apply decay preventing agents and recommend products for home use.
-
After we have completed this, your dentist will perform a comprehensive examination and will advise you of any further dental treatment required.
-
Hygienist visits are scheduled every six months, you will be advised by Jenny if you need more frequent visits. Adults, usually require one hour for appointment, children require thirty minutes.
