Tooth Whitening
Zoom!! Everybody loves a bright white smile – it’s the first thing others notice. Brushing removes superficial staining, but if you would like to change the colour of your teeth, ask us about Zoom!
Zoom! chairside whitening system is a scientifically advanced tooth whitening procedure which is ideal for those looking for immediate results. It will make your teeth dramatically whiter and brighter in less than an hour and is a perfect choice for busy individuals. It includes a touch up kit for you to take home. Almost anyone can benefit from tooth whitening, however the treatment may be more effective for some than others. Dr. Digges and Dr. Mueller will determine if you are a viable candidate through a thorough exam and shade assessment.
Staining can be caused by tea, coffee, red wine, and antibiotics among other causes. We also offer take-home whitening kits. We will take impressions of your teeth in order to make thin comfortable trays where you place a special gel and fit over your teeth. You wear the trays for approximately and hour each day, usually at night for around 2 weeks depending on the shade you want, and the degree of discolouration you start with.
Tooth coloured restorations
We use the latest materials to ensure that your fillings and restorations will match your own teeth. Remember to visit us on a regular basis so that small problems don’t turn into big ones. It will save money in the long run!
Splints and mouthguards
The National Health and Medical Research Council recommends that players of all football codes and players involved in contact sport including rugby, soccer and basketball, should wear a mouthguard. The Dental Health and Research Foundation of Australia established how important it is for athletes to wear custom built mouthguards starting at their earliest days in sport. The Dental Profession and The Australian Dental Association strongly recommend professionally constructed mouthguards. Dr. Digges has many years experience making top of the range double laminated mouthguards for sports teams and school students alike. It’s your best insurance against potentially expensive treatment due to sports injury!
Do you wake up with an aching jaw, or suffer from migraines, neck or shoulder pain? Or do you have cracked, worn or sensitive teeth? You may be grinding your teeth at night without knowing it. Often, such symptoms can be alleviated through the use of a dental splint – a specially designed, easy to use mouthguard that you wear when asleep.
And speaking of sleeping – if you suffer from sleep apnoea, ask us about our sleep apnoea devices to hold your airways open whilst you sleep. |
